A group of developers in Sokoto has launched a mobile app for learning Hausa, with lessons on reading, writing and everyday conversation.
The app works without an internet connection after the first download, a decision the team says was made for learners in rural areas.
They are now looking for teachers and language experts to review the next set of lessons.
